LFC).
Refreshments (tea, coffee etc) provided, and in future, a whole cafe of gorgeousness…
The buses stop just outside LFC, numbers 17, 26 and 27, and there’s Ample Street parking.
For now we’re going to try doing it weekly, and discussing issues that seem relevant in Anfield; so the dates and topics are as follows (unless anyone kindly steps in with their own ideas!):
18.10.11 “What’s the point?” – What’s wrong with apathy? Can individuals make a difference?
25.10.11 “I’ve got 500 friends on facebook, i don’t need to know my neighbours” – Do we still need a local community?
1.11.11 “Is personality a postcode lottery?” – How does where you live affect how you think?
8.11.11 “Football is Anfield’s bread and butter” – LFC seems to be the only thing keeping Anfield going, but is it good for us?
