After the great success of The Anfield Home Tour we are very delighted to be hosting another performance work – the Sphinx has temporarily moved into the bakery flat and she has brought a lot of books with her!
An intimate piece of autobiographical performance by North Liverpool based artist Lorena Rivero de Beer in collaboration with musician Barry Han, theatre director Ben Phillips, designer Katherina Radeva and photographer Mark Loudon. Through a mythical creature, the Sphinx, the performance unravels the artist’s relationship with books and how those shaped her personal history, which includes arriving and constructing her home in North Liverpool.
The performance will take place Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th of January at 6:30 pm. The Bakery will be open from 6:00 pm for tea/coffee and cake.
The performances are free. Places are limited.
