The youngest of six children, from a young age I learned what mutual solidarity and looking after each other was all about. We looked to ourselves and to the close knit local community to create a rich emotional life. I have lived in Anfield for about twenty years. I feel truly privileged to have been welcomed into Anfield and have met so many lovely people here. This is a great place to live with so much potential. I have had a number of different jobs over the years.
I currently work with homeless people at The Whitechapel Centre in Liverpool city centre. I am a part of a team that helps people to build a better future for themselves. This has taught me a lot about tough side of life but also the hope and possibilities that can transform things for the better. I am a single mother of two wonderful sons. So I understand the joys and pressures of family life. I feel proud and privileged to be a founder member of the Community Land Trust.
